U.S. Tax Consultants was founded by John G. Kearins in 1965, when he was originally associated with Arthur Andersen, where he was responsible for Andersen’s U.S. tax practice in Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal. After living in Italy for a while John ended moving to Torrejon de Ardoz (Madrid) and joined Henry Frautschy, to continue helping U.S. Expats living in Spain with their U.S. Tax Returns and also helping them setting up new Spanish-U.S. Corporations.
By that time, they were independent self-employed sharing the clients with a few more Tax Preparers in Spain.
Twenty years later, at the middle of the eighties, they stablished Syncordia, SL as a consulting firm specialized in international issues for both Spanish people with interests in the U.S. and expats from the U.S.A and the UK with interest in Spain. Henry run Syncordia until he died in March 2011.
